Gift Cards Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all gift cards (“Gift Cards”) issued by Severn Cycleworks (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing, using, or accepting a Gift Card, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Gift Card

Gift Cards are issued by Severn Cycleworks for use only in our physical store unless otherwise stated.

Gift Cards cannot be used for online purchases (if applicable).

Gift Cards are not credit, debit, or charge cards.
2. Purchasing and Activation

Gift Cards may be purchased in-store or through any authorised channels we operate.

Full payment must be received before a Gift Card is activated.

We reserve the right to refuse the sale of a Gift Card if fraud or misuse is suspected.
3. Using the Gift Card

Gift Cards can be redeemed for eligible goods and services sold by Severn Cycleworks.

Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

If your purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid by another accepted payment method.

If your purchase is less than the Gift Card value, the remaining balance will stay on the card until the expiry date.
4. Expiry and Validity

Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

After the expiry date, any remaining balance will be void and cannot be refunded.

Expiry dates comply with UK consumer law, and we will not apply unfair terms.
5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Gift Cards

Please treat your Gift Card like cash.

We are not obliged to replace lost, stolen, or damaged cards.

Replacement may be offered at our discretion with proof of purchase.

We accept no responsibility for unauthorised use of a Gift Card.
6. Refunds on Gift Card Purchases

Gift Cards are non-refundable unless required by law.

If goods purchased using a Gift Card are returned:

Any refund will be credited back to a Gift Card (new or existing), not issued in cash.

Refunds follow our standard returns policy.

7. Balance Enquiries

8. Fraud and Misuse

Refuse to accept a Gift Card,

We are not liable for loss, theft, unauthorised use, or unauthorised alteration of a Gift Card.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from Gift Card use.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Any personal data collected when issuing or redeeming a Gift Card will be handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Changes will not affect Gift Cards already issued unless required by law or for security reasons.
