Basso's research for the most versatile bike found its constant redefinition in Palta. The synthesis of a vision of lightness and sturdiness, precision and adaptability, comfort and performance. Why not add something extra to expand its boundaries, to allow you to enjoy riding for even longer?
Form
Volta's evolution has refined its design, making its lines more modern and streamlined. The battery is integrated to the point of doubting its presence.
Control and Power
The strong bond with Palta is not limited only to the aesthetics and unmistakable geometries: Volta shares its technical and technological solutions, amplifying its potential thanks to the electric propulsion unit which provides ample assistance.
Frame
The frame is designed to host mudguards, luggage racks, and a dynamo hub that powers your bike lights or charges personal devices.
Paradigma Integration System
This integrated system made up of stem, headset and spacers has been designed to integrate up to 5 cable houses, maintaining the same steering lightness for a smooth and precise ride. Paradigma is an integrated system compatible with the groupsets available on the market.
3B Clamp System Gen 2
A totally hidden fixing solution that is invisible on the frame, intertwining technological and aesthetic innovation.
The result is a lightweight, invisible and strong integrated system with three screws, which has been further implemented through the vulcanization of the steel plank. This Basso solution gives the 3B system an anti-vibration function, which improves the riding experience by elevating comfort on uneven and bumpy surfaces.

The frame construction: Constructed by hand with the same high quality carbon (3K Toray ca HMCF T700-MR60) found on all our gravel bikes.
Powered by Polini: Italian frame, Italian Polini EP3+ motor, Italian quality with a torque value of over 75Nm (250W power) and a 500Wh Lithium battery.
New TFT Display: The new display is easy to read thanks to the adaptive light 2,5" colour screen, with automatic adaptation of the colour and intensity according to the ambient light. Furthermore it shows precisely the cyclist pedalling power, the cadence, the motor power and residual range.
Motor: Light, powerful and compact, Polini E-P3+ motor features a very reduced volume and exploits 75Nm torque.
Battery: The 500Wh Integrated Polini battery offers 5 levels of assistance and up to 220km of support.
Tyre clearance: Tyre clearance has been increased to 45mm for added versatility and comfort in any situation.
Cable Integration: Internal routed cables for clean aesthetics and cable protection.
